LAYERS

2011

Literature, cinema, painting and other media are a refuge for artists who try to communicate their personal vision of the world.
At the same time, the deep essence of their internal experience is impossible to express in its integrity and its true beauty. That makes the genuine artist's mind unreachable to others.

Books contain only the "have-been-written" part of this mindset and so become as partial as a painting in

regard to the painter's initial and strong personal view.

The photographs of this series (called LAYERS for all the stratum of knowledge responsible for the sophistication of our vision of the world) represent edges of books. They are an abstract visual proposition for the intangible thought from an artist.

These photographs represent the inexpressible.
